Will my parent actually feel comfortable with this service?
Comfort is our highest priority. Our specialists are trained to work with older adults — they speak slowly and clearly, never rush, and always follow the senior's lead. Most members feel at ease within the first or second call. If your parent is hesitant at first, that is completely normal, and something we work through with patience and care.
Is this safe? How can I trust your team?
Our entire team is U.S.-based and thoroughly vetted before joining. We never ask for financial information, passwords, or sensitive personal data. Our role is friendly support and guidance — nothing more. We have a clear Privacy Policy explaining exactly how we handle any information you share with us.
What if my parent needs help outside of business hours?
We are available Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm EST. Outside those hours, we encourage members to leave a voicemail or send an email — we follow up promptly the next business day. For urgent medical or safety emergencies, please call 911.
Who is this service designed for?
HelpOurParents.com serves two audiences: seniors who want a friendly, reliable support system in their daily lives, and adult children who want genuine peace of mind. Many of our members are older adults who live alone or who could benefit from a patient, knowledgeable resource for technology and daily questions.
What technology help do you provide?
We help with smartphones, tablets, computers, printers, TVs, streaming services, apps, email, and more. We also review emails for potential scams or threats — a growing concern for older adults. Everything is explained step by step, in plain language, at whatever pace the person needs. There is no question too basic.
What plan options are available?
We offer three support plans — Essentials, Peace of Mind, and Family Plus — each designed for a different level of care. We also offer a one-time call option for families who just need help once, with no ongoing commitment. How does member login work? Will my parent need to remember a password?
The member app stays logged in on the same device for 90 days — no repeated passwords required. We designed it specifically so seniors can open the app and use it immediately. The interface uses large text, clear buttons, and straightforward navigation that any senior can use independently.
How do I get started?
Simply call us or send an email. A real person will answer, listen to your situation, and walk you through everything at your pace. There is no complicated enrollment process and absolutely no pressure. Most families are fully set up within the same day they first contact us.
